- Contract will be a firm fixed priced requirement type contract for commerical items. The NAICS code is 811219 with a size standard of $7.0M. This requirement will be posted as 100% set-aside for small business. The contract term will be base plus two option periods. The estimated period of performance for the base period is 01 JUN 2012 - 31 MAY 2013. Service provider shall provide labor, equipment, tools, parts, materials, vehicles, and transportation to perform quarterly or as required preventive maintenance and repairs on Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems, battery banks, generators, and automatic transfer switch (ATS) located at various Army locations on Schofield Barracks, Wheeler Army Airfield, and Fort Shafter, Hawaii. Work hours are from 7:30am - 4:00pm on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. Contractor shall perform timely removal of worn out parts, checking fluid levels, battery inspeciton, load bank testing, replacing battery, verifying control panel readings and indicators, repair and replace parts, identify repairs and replacements needed and/or scheduled for next maintenance, changing air filters, and all else done by manufacturer recommendations. Repairs and replacement of parts are to be done during maintenance service. Contractor will also perform emergency (unscheduled work) to restore the UPS, battery banks, and generators to full operational capability within two working days.
