- Description
- The Army's System of Systems Integration (SoSI) Directorate, supported by the Army Network Integration Evaluation (NIE) Triad consisting of the Army Test and Evaluation Command and the Brigade Modernization Command, will hold an NIE Industry Observation Day on June 1, 2012 at Fort Bliss, Texas, and White Sands Missile Range (WSMR), NM. The goal of the event is to show industry the NIE operational environment and supporting infrastructure at Fort Bliss and WSMR. This observation day will take place during the NIE 12.2 capstone exercises. Special emphasis of this day will focus on showing industry how NIEs are executed in the actual operational environment and allowing industry partners to meet Brigade staff and leadership. The event will cover Phase 5 of the Agile Process, which brings selected technologies to the operational environment for integration following the initial laboratory prove-outs and puts them in the hands of Soldiers for evaluation during the NIE.
