- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Far Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The VA Gulf Coast Veterans Health Care System (VAGCVHCS), Biloxi, MS, intends to negotiate and award a sole source contract with Wellness Technologies, Inc. for a Parks Medical Flo-Lab 2100 SX Doppler unit. Solicitation VA256-12-Q-0686 is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) and constitutes the only solicitation; a written solicitation will not be issued. This will be a firm-fixed-price contract. This solicitation document incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-57 current as of March 15, 2012 and is in accordance with the terms, conditions, special provisions and schedules herein. The NAICS code is 339112 with a size standard of 500 employees. This notice of intent is to award a sole source contract and is not a request for competitive quotes and is not a solicitation or request for offers. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that a prospective offeror can fulfill the requirements of the solicitation and that competition would be advantageous to the Government. Responses must be received no later than 2:00 pm on April 30, 2012. Responses must be submitted in writing to VA Gulf Coast Veterans Health care System, Attention: Rene' Impey, Contracting Officer (NCO16), 400 Veterans Ave (90C), Biloxi, Mississippi 39531, or email at rene.impey@va.gov. No telephone inquiries will be accepted. Contractors must be actively registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database to be eligible for award.
