- The NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center, Puget Sound has a requirement, in support of Puget Sound Naval Shipyard, to provide for rental of 4 electric air compressors and accessories. The air compressors are being used to preserve and maintain the tanks and voids on board a U.S. Naval vessel. The equipment is to be delivered to and removed from North Island Naval Air Station. The required rental is required from Jun 25, 2012 to January 24, 2013 Also reference solicitation N00406-12-R-2066. This notice is for an individual requirement for air compressor leasing services outlined in CLIN 0001 in the solicitation. The specific work statement for the required services will be issued with the solicitation and posted to the NECO website. This requirement to be solicited on a 100% Small Business concern basis using commercial procedures in accordance with FAR Parts 12 and 15, utilizing Low Price Technically Acceptable evaluation factors resulting in award of a Firm-Fixed price, Service type contract. This solicitation and any subsequent amendments will be posted to the NECO website: https://www.neco.navy.mil. The anticipated posting date of the solicitation is on or about 24 April 2012 with a closing on 8 May 2012. Prospective offerors are responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation from this website and for frequently monitoring that site for any amendments. The Government is not responsible for any inability of the offerors to access the posted documents. Prospective offerors should register themselves on the NECO website. No telephone or FAX requests will be accepted, and no hard-copy solicitation/amendment will be mailed or FAXed. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal or quotation which shall be considered by FISCPS. Offerors must also be registered in the Contractors Central Registration (CCR) in order to participate in this procurement at http://www.ccr.gov.
