- A sole source procurement is contemplated with Force Protections Industries Inc., 9801 HWY 78St, Ste 3, Ladson, SC 29456. Based on market research, it has been determined that new technology research, user-need, cost, timing, and having a vehicle ready solution, Force Protections Industries Inc. is currently the only capable Armor Transparent, Vehicular Window contractor. The estimated value of this effort is $1.1M. The anticipated period of performance is six (6) months from the date of purchase. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement to the Contract Specialist, Gene Fava, at eugene.j.fava.civ@mail.mil which shall be considered by the agency.
