- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for services. This is a Request for Quote (RFQ) to provide all management, labor, supplies, materials and equipment necessary to perform herbicide spraying at John T. Myers Lock and Dam, Mt. Vernon, IN. All work shall be performed in strict compliance with the attached specifications and all other terms, clauses, and conditions incorporated herein. Services will begin on 01 June 2012 or date of award (if later) and continue through 31 August 2012. NOTE: THIS RFQ IS 100% SET ASIDE FOR SMALL BUSINESS. The NAICS code for this procurement is 561730. The size standard is $7 M. The solicitation will be available on the web only. Telephone and Fax requests for this solicitation will not be honored. Project files are Portable Document Format (PDF) files and can be viewed, navigated, or printed using Adobe Acrobat Reader.
