- RFP NO: FA8202-12-R-1007 Operational Suitability, Safety, and Effectiveness (OSS&E) The purpose of this acquisition is to continue integrated sustainment improvements and modernization of the A-10C aircraft avionics systems consistent with the recommendations provided under recent studies. The tasks within this effort are required to support the A-10 System Program Office as the prime integrator, which is responsible for Operational Safety, Suitability, and Effectiveness (OSS&E) systems, and the systems integration engineering for the A-10 weapon system. This includes configuration management of the A-10 system architecture; drawing baseline, Technical Orders (TO), and Time Compliant Technical Orders (TCTOs).To facilitate systems integration as the prime integrator, this effort will continue to establish an integrated communication tool for management to provide common access to the A-10 community. An overview of the major tasks are below: 1) Database, Documents and Architecture tool Updates - Ensuring the tools are accurate, complete, and available 2) Aircraft Configuration Technical Support - Effectively manage the lifecycle of the A-10 aircraft by providing common accessible tools with configuration-controlled data to the A-10 community, both Government and Contractors 3) A-10 Aircraft Configuration Audit - Perform an physical audit on 90 A-10C aircraft to verify, by tail number, that the aircraft has the correct baseline 4) Electronic Load Analysis (ELA) - Perform the engineering analysis on the A-10 avionics and electrical systems to identify and correct the technical deficiencies of the current A-10 ELA Tool 5) A-10 Platform Obsolescence Plan (APOP) - Work with the A-10 Commodities item managers to provide the Government a prioritized listing of the top 100 commodities with DMSMS issues that are not currently loaded in a DMSMS tracking database POC: Patty Mogck (801) 777-7580 CO: Eileen Wahlstrom (801) 586-1707
