- Description
- The Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) will be soliciting proposals for The Office of Patient Advocacy /Single Point of Access (OPA/SPA). The purposes of this contract are to establish and operate an Office of Patient Advocacy, which will support patients in need of blood stem cell transplants and provide a Single Point of Access through which healthcare professionals and patients can search electronically for blood stem cells derived from adult blood stem cell donors and cord blood units. It is anticipated that an award resulting from this solicitation will have a period of performance of one-year base, and four one-year options. These services are defined under NAICS code 541611. It is anticipated that a Cost Sharing type contract will result from this requirement. This acquisition is being conducted under Full and Open competition. The solicitation will be posted on or about May 1, 2012. It will be available at this website as an attachment to this announcement (www.fbo.gov under HHS, Health Resources and Services Administration). It is the offeror's responsibility to monitor the site for amendments to the solicitation. The agency will consider proposals from all responsible sources.
