- Description
- This award is to existing sole-source contract with Rolls-Royce Corporation (N00019-09-D-0020) for additional KC-130J Propulsion System Logistics Support services. Rolls-Royce Corporation is the designer, developer, and Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) of the AE2100D3 engine. Rolls-Royce retains the requisite knowledge, experience, technical capability, and technical data required to meet the objective of this procurement. CJ&A number 07-397 was issued on 12 December 2007 authorizing and approving the issuance of a sole-source indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract to Rolls-Royce Corporation under the statutory authority Title, Sec. U.S.C., 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1 permitting other than full and open competition because "only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements."
