- The Space and Naval Warfare Center, Atlantic Charleston, SC code 2232 has arequirement for Qty of 10 each TACLANE-Micro Units (KG-175D, part # MC- 10901-2) with the trade-in of 10 each TACLANE-Mini Units (KG-175B, part # MNU-89101-1 manufactured by GENERAL DYNAMICS. The North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) Code for this requirement is 517410, SATELLITE COMMUNICATIONS. The Government intends to award a firm-fixed price contract on a GENERAL DYNAMICS product listed below under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. GENERAL DYNAMICS IS LOCATED AT 77 "A" STREET, NEEDHAM, MA 02494. GENERAL DYNAMICS is the sole manufacturer and hold proprietary rights. Award is anticipated by COB 20 APR 2012. Contract is to be FOB DESTINATION shipped to COMSEC ACCT 817021, USSOCOM/SOIO-EN-C, 7701 TAMPA POINT BLVD., MACDILL AFB, FL 33621- 5323 and shall be marked for (M/F) as specified. The contract line item number (CLIN) and description for this procurement are:***CLIN 0001 Qty of 10 each TACLANE-Micro Units (KG-175D, part # MC-10901-2) with the trade-in of 10 each TACLANE-Mini Units (KG-175B, part # MNU-89101-1 **This is a notice of intent and is not a request for competitive quotes for items other than the brand name GENERAL DYNAMICS equipment listed in this synopsis***The Government will accept quotes from all SMALL BUSINESS responsible sources with the capability to provide the products to the brand name cited above and will award a contract resulting from this RFQ to the responsible vendor whose offer conforms to the solicitation and is considered to be most advantageous to the Government. Quotes are due to Michelle Cope, Business Specialist, SPAWARSYSCEN, Atlantic by 4:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time, 18 APR 2012. The Government reserves the right to process the procurement on a Brand Name based upon the responses received. The Government will not pay for any information received.
