- A presolicitation for this requirement was issued under AG-82A7-12-S-0023. BACKGROUND AND SCOPE: Job Corps is an education and training program that helps young people learn a career, earn a high school diploma or GED, and find and keep a good job. Students are provided with clean linen for their sleeping areas on a weekly basis. The students exchange linens once every week. The linen for each student consists of a pillow case, blanket, flat sheet, and fitted sheet. Each week one of the four dorms will add a comforter to their linen exchange. No other linen will be laundered. Linens will not be picked up during our two (2) yearly breaks which occur in the summer and winter. The Contractor shall provide laundry services for approximately 224 students' bed linens. Jacobs Creek Job Corps will have a count of each item that is picked up and the vendor will sign for those items. When the items are returned, they will be matched against what was picked up. The vendor will deliver laundered linens to Jacobs Creek Job Corps Center. Each week the contracting company will pick up linen on Wednesday and return linen on the following Wednesday.
