- NASA/GSFC has a requirement: For maintenance support of the MATLAB software.NASA/GSFC intends to procure services from The MathWorks. It is our understanding thatThe MathWorks is the only vendor that can provide the expertise support for thefollowing software; Simulink Maintenance, Communications System Toolbox Maintenance,Control System Toolbox Maintenance, DSP System Toolbox Maintenance, EDA Simulator LinkMaintenance, Image Processing Toolbox Maintenance, Computer Vision System ToolboxMaintenance, Simulink Verification and Validation Maintenance, Fixed Point ToolboxMaintenance and etc.DO Rating is DO-C9. This synopsis shall not be construed as a commitment by theGovernment, nor will the Government pay for the information solicited.Questions regarding this acquisition must be directed to the attention of Kimber Russellvia e-mail at Kimber.R.Russell@nasa.gov or via facsimile at (301) 286-9159 by 9:00am EST,April 23, 2012. Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform theeffort in writing to the identified point of contact not later than 9:00am EST, April 18,2012. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose ofdetermining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. It is thebidders responsibility to monitor this site for the release of amendments. Potentialquoters will be responsible for downloading their own copy of this notice.A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and opencompetition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretionof the Government.Oral communications ARE NOT acceptable in response to this notice.All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency.An ombudsman has been appointed.
