- The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services has determined that it will not seek to award its own contract to provide Information Technology (IT) support services, as envisioned by the original Enterprise Systems Development sources sought notice posted in July 2011. CMS has conducted market research and has determined that existing small business Government Wide Acquisition Contracts (GWACs) provide the right kind of services and will allow CMS to continue to offer maximum practicable participation to small businesses. CMS will conduct market research on each specific IT service requirement to consider small business concerns.
