- Corporate Data on U.S. Healthcare Businesses (Request For Information) This is a Request for Information (RFI). This is NOT a solicitation for proposals, proposal abstracts, or quotations. The purpose of this RFI is to obtain knowledge and information for project planning purposes. The Office of Inspector General of the US Department of Health and Human Services (HHS OIG) has a requirement for subscription data on corporate ownership and economic activity. The anticipated period of performance has not been determined. As a precursor to the competitive process to acquire these services, OIG is conducting market research to identify potentially qualified business sources that can provide information on the availability and cost of commercially-available subscription data on corporate ownership and economic activity. Primary use of this data would be to develop and strengthen algorithms for detecting potential fraud, waste, and abuse in HHS programs. The data provider would also provide comprehensive data documentation and related support services to HHS OIG. Please see the attached document for additional information and specifics of this RFI.
