- Justification and Approval - Sole Source AAC/PKOB, Eglin AFB, FL, awarded a sole source firm-fixed price contract for BreakingPoint Chassis, Systems Operating software, and Essential training to BreakingPoint Systems, Inc. under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(a)(2). This requirement is for: CLIN 0001: (1 EACH) HARDWARE - BREAKINGPOINT CHASSIS W/ONE (1) GIG 8-PORT BLADE CLIN 0002: (1 EACH) SOFTWARE - APPLICATION AND THREAT INTELLIGENCE PROGRAM CLIN 0003: (2 EACH) ESSENTIALS TRAINING - 3 DAYS The delivery date will be NLT 30 April 2012. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this acquisition is 334111 with a small business size standard of 1000. Interested parties may not identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals/quotes. In accordance with FAR 5.2, Synopses of Proposed Contract Actions, all contract awards must be synopsized through the GPE for actions exceeding $25,000. A proposed contract action synopsis/solicitation was not required for the subject order/contract prior to award due to a determination by the government not to compete this contract, which was based on the procedures for Only One Responsible Source (FAR 6.302-1).
