- Description
- This is a pre-solicitation notice only. Tentative solicitation release date is 27 Apr 2012. Contractor shall furnish all plant, labor, materials, equipment, supplies, and supervision necessary to complete JFSD201026, Maintain Airfield Striping on Grand Forks Air Force Base, North Dakota in accordance with the drawings and technical specifications. The contractor shall use the application of pavement markings within the perimeter fence to the airfield, ramps, taxiways, streets, roadways, and parking lot pavements. Pavement marking work shall include necessary removals (water-blasting or sandblasting), reflective pavement markings, non-reflective pavement markings, restricted area pavement markings, and necessary layout to complete the work detailed in the drawings and specifications. The resulting contract will be executed at the Government's discretion. The magnitude of this project is between $100,000 and $250,000. Work on this contract shall be completed non-stop during daylight hours in the controlled movement area with all on-site work being completed within 20 working days. The total period of performance shall be 45 days, allowing time for material procurement, etc. All work shall be coordinated with Base Operations. A winter exclusion construction period of 1 Oct - 15 May shall apply. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 237310 with a size standard of $33.5M. This acquisition will be 100% small business set-aside. All contractors MUST be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database or their proposal WILL NOT be considered for award. Contractors can obtain further information on the CCR database at the website http://www.ccr.gov.
