- The Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Integrated Service Network (VISN 6) has a need for Home Respiratory Supplies and Services for veterans and beneficiaries in the VISN 6 area, which includes the following eight medical facilities: Asheville, North Carolina; Beckley, West Virginia; Durham, North Carolina; Fayetteville, North Carolina; Hampton, Virginia; Richmond, Virginia; Salisbury, North Carolina; and Salem, Virginia. VISN 6 currently serves an estimated 5,000 oxygen-using patients covering three (3) states: North Carolina, Virginia and West Virginia. Required services include storage, delivery, set-up, adjustment, patient/caregiver instructions and recovery of equipment. Services are needed for a period of one (1) year with four (4) one (1) year renewable option periods. This requirement is unrestricted; however, a cascading strategy will be used for this procurement. Please refer to the solicitation for specific information regarding cascading. The NAICS Code is 532291 - Home Health Equipment Rental. Size standard is $7.0M. The procurement will be conducted utilizing the commercial item procedures of FAR 12 in conjunction with FAR 15.
