- INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE FAR 13.501(a) This is a special notice of the Michael E. DeBakey Medical Veterans Affairs Medical Center(VAMC),2002 Holcombe Blvd. Houston, Texas 77030 to negotiate a sole source with MEDI STIM USA INC. for upgrading and replacing the current MediStim system/device for the Operating Room(OR) Department with: MediStim VeriQC Imaging System 1 EA, 15Mhz Imaging Probe 1 EA, Maintenance/Service Contract 1 EA The Government believes that only one business can satisfy the agency requirements and intends to negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.501(a)- access to proprietary information. Other persons may indentify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement by May 3, 2012 at 2:00PM (CST). Such capabilities information will be used solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. All information shall be furnished at no cost or obligated to the Government. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. No solicitation is available at this time. All inquiries must be submitted by email to anthony.marion2va.gov on or before May 3, 2012 2:00pm (CST).
