- Request for Quote format Statement of Work, including purpose and technical specifications. THIS IS A COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION FOR COMMERCIAL ITEMS PREPARED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE FORMAT IN FAR SUB-PART 12.6-STREAMLINED PROCEDURES FOR EVALUATION AND SOLICITATION FOR COMMERCIAL ITEMS-AS SUPPLEMENTED WITH ADDITIONAL INFORMATION INCLUDED IN THIS NOTICE. SIMPLIFIED ACQUISITION PROCEDURES ARE UTILIZED IN THIS PROCUREMENT. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION; QUOTATIONS ARE BEING REQUESTED, AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION DOCUMENT WILL NOT BE ISSUED. This solicitation is a Request for Quotation (RFQ). *** The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 337127 with a small business size standard of 500 employees. This requirement is restricted and only small business contractors may submit a quote. The National Institute of Standards and Technology Time and Frequency Division is requesting quotes for Optical Tables. STATEMENT OF WORK: Optical Tables PURPOSE: The NIST Time and Frequency Metrology Group requires a suite of vibration isolation optical tables for the next generation of optical and RF phase noise measurement capabilities. TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS: Research grade vibration isolation optical table 5ft X 10ft X 18" - QTY: 1 Research grade vibration isolation optical table 4ft X 8ft X 12" - QTY: 2 Research grade vibration isolation work station 3ft X 5ft X 4" - QTY: 4 ****FBO Destination only (Boulder, CO) - Delivery max time: 6 weeks ARO ****Evaluation of Technical Capability shall be based on the information provided in the quotation. Quotations shall include the make and model of the products, manufacturer sales literature or other product literature, which CLEARLY DOCUMENTS that the offered product(s) meet or exceed the specifications stated above. The Government intends to award a firm-fixed price Purchase Order as a result of this Combined Synopsis/Solicitation that will include the terms and conditions that are set forth herein.
