- Description
- SYNOPSIS : The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office - SCRO, plans to issue solicitation IFBP05141200001 for the construction of, to include but not limited to, replacing cooling towers. The successful contractor will provide two cooling towers, factory assembled, 316 stainless steel basin and type 304 stainless steel upper casing, fan sector panels and fan deck, 100% corrosion free, induced draft, counterflow design complete with 4.0 KW 408V/3 phase electric pan heaters with thermostat and low water cutoff. Design minimums: 334 GPM, 95 EWT, 85 LWT, 78 EWB, 7.5 fan HP and electrical requirements of 408V, 3 phase. The performance period is 150 calendar days after receipt of a notice to proceed. The project consists of furnishing all equipment, materials and labor for the complete construction of the work located at the Federal Correctional Institution, Seagoville, Texas. The magnitude of this project is between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00. The solicitation will available on or about May 3, 2012 with an anticipated bid opening date of approximately June 12, 2012. The solicitation will be distributed solely through the General Services Administrations Federal Business Opportunities website http//www.fedbizopps.gov. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this solicitation, including any amendments will also be distributed solely through this site. Faith Based and Community Based organizations can submit offers/bids/quotations equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. This is a 100% small business set-aside.
