- Specification Quote This combined synopsis/solicitation HSCG80-12-Q-PV1R14 for commercial items is prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This Request for Quotes incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-54. This Solicitation is for Full and Open Competition. The NAICS is 336611. A. REQUIREMENT: Contractor shall provide a quote for all labor and equipment to accomplish the work identified in the attachment entitled "SPECIFICATON". B. PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: is two (2) calendar days (23 APR - 24 APR). C. PLACE OF PERFORMANCE: At Contractors Facility; geographical restriction: Strait of Juan de Fuca and Pudget Sound, WA D. DESCRIPTION OF WORK (also see separate attached specification): Drydock CGC Sea Fox and replace starboard shaft seal. E. EVALUATION: As stated below, the provision at FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items- applies with the following addenda: Award of a contract will be based on the following criteria: Past Performance and Price. The purchase order will be awarded as a firm fixed price contract using simplified acquisition procedures in accordance with FAR Part 13.5. F. Potential sources having expertise and required capabilities are invited to submit quotations that will be considered by the agency. Quotations should be written and submitted in a legible format and must contain the contractor's DUNS Number. Offerors Shall include a completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifcations-Commercial items, with their offer.
