- U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC) Contracting Office intends to issue a sole source award to Trimble Navigation Limited, 5475 Kellenburger Road Dayton, OH for Software eCognition Developer 8.7. eCognition software is used to manipulate geospatial data types in an object oriented environment. Trimble Navigation Limited is the only distributer and licensing authoring for eCognition Developer 8.7 The Government intends to procure from only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b). This will be a commercial acquisition using simplified acquisition procedures per FAR 13. This is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation is available. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation to the Contract Specialist by 11:00 AM CST, Wed April 18, 2012.
