- This is a special notice for informational purposes only. The 23rd Contracting Squadron intends to issue a sole source contract to Cobham Mission Systems Division. The justification for restricting competition is in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation FAR 6.302-1 (Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements). A post-award notice will be posted on Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) identifying the 23rd Contracting Squadron's Justification and Approval of this sole source procurement of Cobham Mission Systems Division. All inquiries on this action can be submitted in writing (phone calls will not be accepted) by facsimile (229 257-3547) or email to the POCs: ellen.feazell@moody.af.mil; christopher.piercy@moody.af.mil, NO LATER THAN 19 Apr 2012 @ 1:00 P.M. This is NOT a request for Proposal and does NOT constitute any commitment by the Government. Responses to this Special Notice will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions.
