- The U.S. Army Contracting Command-Rock Island (ACC-RI) intends to issue Request for Proposal (RFP) W52P1J-12-R-0032. This RFP is for various types of Non Standard Ammunition (NSA) for Foreign Military Sales (FMS) to organizations and countries deemed eligible for the transfer of military defense articles (see attached NSA List). The acquisition will be solicited on a Full and Open competitive basis. The proposed RFP will result in the award of up to two (2) Firm Fixed Price Three-year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contracts. The RFP will be evaluated utilizing Best Value Tradeoff Procedures in accordance with FAR 15.101-1. Delivery Order 0001 will be issued concurrently with the award(s). The estimated release date for the RFP is 05 May 2012. The date at which proposals are due will be released in the RFP. The response date listed on this website is for archive purposes only and is not necessarily the closing date upon which proposals are due. NOTE: The dates listed above are estimated dates only and are subject to change. Prospective offerors are advised to view the Federal Business Opportunities website for updates on issuances. The Government does not intend to use FAR Part 12 for the acquisition. The RFP will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502 and 5.102(a)(1); therefore, hard copies will not be provided. Vendors wishing an electronic copy may download it on or after the issue date by accessing the Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) website at the following address: http://www.acquisition.army.mil/asfi/. CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is, in fact, unable to maintain a bidders' mailing list. It is therefore incumbent upon any interested party to periodically access the above internet address in order to obtain any amendments which may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for receipt of proposals may render your proposal. Nonresponsive and result in rejection of the same.
