- April 12, 2012 Advertisement for Parking for the Atlanta VA Regional Office Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Competition for Lease Location The Atlanta VA Regional Office (VARO) is seeking thirty (30) parking spaces located in the Decatur, GA area for the Atlanta VA Regional Office located at 1700 Clairmont Road, 30033. The VA is conducting a competition for space and will select parking spaces in the most advantageous location for the Government. Lease options and other factors will be considered when determining whether the space identified by respondents is appropriate. The parking area must accommodate 30 parking spaces with a concrete, cement, or asphalt parking surface and appropriate lighting. A lease term of approximately twelve (12) months, five (5) months firm will be considered. To be considered, the property/space must be within 3.5 map miles from the current location of the Atlanta VA Regional Office (1700 Clairmont Rd, Decatur, GA. 30033). Occupancy is required by May 21, 2012. VA staff will conduct a market survey of properties offered for lease. Respondents must provide evidence that properties are outside the 100-year flood plain. Respondents are advised that VA assumes no responsibility to award a lease based upon responses to this advertisement. Interested parties/vendors (owners, brokers, or their legal representatives) should submit the following in their packages: physical location of the property, property description (total square footage, pictures if available, condition, etc), point of contact, address, e-mail, and phone number to Tommy L. Brown, (VA Contracting Officer) at the following address no later than April 17, 2012 to be considered: The Government is limited by law (40 USC 278a, ad Amended 10-1-81) to pay no more than the appraised fair market rental value of space.
