This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial supply and/or service prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will NOT be issued. This is a Request For Quote (RFQ) and the solicitation number is F2VUHQ2087A001. This acquisition is a 100% small business set aside. The 6th Contracting Squadron (6 CONS), MacDill AFB, Florida, is looking to lease a brand name or equal 2012 Chevy Tahoe 4WD for a base year plus two option years. The following salient characteristics must be met when providing an or equal product: Model: Class IV SUV1500 LT (equal to Chevy Tahoe 4 WD) Luxury Package Packages: Sun, Entertainment and Destinations Package Power Train: Z71-Off-Road Suspension, Vortec 5.3L V8 SFI FlexFuel Engine, 6-speed automatic transmission, Rear axle, 3.08 ratio Exterior Color: Silver ice metallic Interior Color: Light titanium/dark titanium Exterior: Power Sunroof Interior: Front Bucket Seats, Second row bucket seats, First and second row all-weather floor mats, third row all-weather floor mats, rear seat DVD entertainment system Accessories: Splash Guards - Rear Flat, Fuel Door Lock, Rail Steps Delivery Date: ASAP Estimated Monthly Mileage: 800 Vendor MUST provide 30 day temp tag on delivery DESCRIPTION OF REQUIREMENT CLIN 0001 (1 Each) Lease Brand Name or Equal 2012 Chevy Tahoe 4WD Base Year Period of Performance is 1 May 2012 - 30 April 2013 CLIN 1001 (1 Each) Lease Brand Name or Equal 2012 Chevy Tahoe 4WD Option Year One Period of Performance is 1 May 2013 - 30 April 2014 CLIN 2001 (1 Each) Lease Brand Name or Equal 2012 Chevy Tahoe 4WD Year Two Period of Performance is 1 May 2014 - 30 April 2015 The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-56 effective 02 April 2012, DFAR DCN 20120330, and AFFAR AFAC 2012-0330. The North American Industry Classification System code (NAICS) is 532112, Sport utility vehicle leasing. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) is 7515, Car Leasing. A firm fixed price contract will be awarded. All interested parties must bid on all items. This is a Brand Name or Equal requirement. Any Or Equal proposal received will be sent to the technical advisor for compatibility or functionality. Award will be made to the quotation which offers the best value to the government. As prescribed in 5301-9103, insert the following clause: OMBUDSMAN (AUG 2005) (a) An ombudsman has been appointed to hear and facilitate the resolution of concerns from offerors, potential offerors, and others for this acquisition. When requested, the ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to the source of the concern. The existence of the ombudsman does not affect the authority of the program manager, contracting officer, or source selection official. Further, the ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals, the source selection process, or the adjudication of protests or formal contract disputes.
