- This is to provide clarifications to previous posting. The requirement for the MI-FI Air Cards will now read "Up to 15 MI-FI Air Card Internet Access." The following are questions and answers that were submitted for clarification: Question #1 : Are the quantity requested existing lines and will the Government require porting of these numbers to a new carrier if the incumbent carrier is not chosen? Answer # 1: The quantities requested are for expansion capabilities. The actual number of devices in use are 52 ea Cell phones and 110 Blackberry devices. If at all possible, we would like to have the numbers ported in the event the incumbent carrier isn't chosen. Question #2:- The Government refers to a map to demonstrate critical and non-critical areas. Does the Government intend on providing offerers with maps to demonstrate these areas or is the Government referring to the vendors' maps? Answer # 2: The map was attached to the last updated posting. Question #3: The Government requests international coverage for 15 BlackBerries, but does not provide the number of minutes required annually for vendors to quote and the government to properly fund for these services. Will the government be providing an estimate for budgetary purposes to all carriers, so this can be included for your funding documents? Answer #3: We have 8 actual devices that have international packages on them. It will be hard to estimate the yearly international minutes due to the fact that they all travel at different times and for various lengths each time. Please submit a price list for roaming rates to various countries or a price list that would accomodate these requirements.
