- Description
- The Contractor shall provide personnel, management, and all supplies necessary to perform mold assessment services in accordance with the specifications of this contract. The mold assessment services shall include but are not limited to mold testing, mold remediation assessment reports, mold remediation protocols, evaluation of mold remediation projects, and certifications of indentified mold that has been remediated. The mold assessment work shall comply with current Texas Mold Assessment Remediation Rules (TMARR) of the Texas Administrative Code (TAC). Specifically, 25 TAC Sections 295.301-295.338, State of Texas Commission on Environmental Quality, and Federal EPA regulations. This action will be conducted as a commercial service acquisition in accordance with FAR Part 12 (Acquisition of Commercial Items) in conjunction with the policies and procedures for solicitation, evaluation, and award under FAR Part 14 (Invitation for Bid). This procurement is 100% set aside for small businesses. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code applicable to this requirement is 541620 (Environmental Consulting Services) and the Small Business Size Standard is $14M. The resultant contract will be a Firm Fixed Price, Requirements Type Contract with a base year beginning 1 July 2012 to 30 June 2013, with two one-year option periods. The Government anticipates issuing a Request for Proposal (RFP), W91151-11-B-0010, on or about 1 June 2012 with a tentative closing date of 2 July 2012. The Invitation for Bid (IFB) will be available for downloading at the Army Single Face to Industry website at https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi. No paper copies of the solicitation will be mailed and telephone requests will not be honored. Offerors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR), accessed via the Internet at http://www.ccr.gov. In order to receive an award, the NAICS code identified above must be listed on your CCR and ORCA. Bidders pricing, any required licenses/certifications, and representations and certifications shall be submitted with bid. All responsible, responsive and timely bids will be considered for award.
