Description
The Network Contracting Office (NCO) 15 (Eastern Orbit) has a requirement for Video Production services for the VA Medical Center, St. Louis, MO. The NAICS code is 512110 with a size standard of $29.5 Million. The proposed contract is 100% set-aside for award to Service-Disabled, Veteran-Owned Small Business in accordance with PL 109-461. Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision and services necessary to produce a training video. The fall prevention training video will use a combination of an animated character and live actors to represent the film ™s narrators, caregivers and Veterans. The animated character should be designed to ensure that sensitive topics such as personal frailty, loss of normal function, and falling in the bathroom and bedroom can be adequately shown without impinging upon personal dignity or posing safety concerns for actors. The project will consist of creating a 20-30 minute long DVD consisting of seven (7) 3-5 minute scenarios illustrating common locations for falls and fall-related injuries in the nursing home (introduction, bedroom, bathroom, corridor/hallways, and outdoors, other concerns, and conclusions) for healthcare provider training. The deliverable is due 120 days after award date. All offerors are advised that any questions must be submitted in written form to the Contracting Officer via email to tina.gopon@va.gov and shall be received no later than May 3, 2012 at 1200 PM. Request for Proposal will be available on or about April 12, 2012; due date for receipt of offers is May 9, 2012, 2:00 p.m. CST.
