- Description
- The 21st Contracting Squadron, Peterson AFB, CO announces the solicitation of the Protective Coating Maintenance (PCM) services at Peterson AFB (PAFB), CO, and Cheyenne Mountain Air Force Station (CMAFS), CO. The Government anticipates the award of one Firm Fixed-Price (FFP), Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract. This acquisition is restricted to Small Business Administration (SBA) certified 8(a) firms located within Colorado ONLY. Typical task orders will consist of a broad range of protective coating maintenance requirements at the locations listed above. Protective coating services include the maintenance and upkeep of real property, portable buildings and equipment on PAFB and CMAFS to include surface preparation, surface treatments, protective coatings, caulking, signs, street markings and airfield markings. Masonry and carpenter skills may be required for some taskings. The performance period of the contract shall consist of one base year, and six individual option years, for a potential total of seven years. The NAICS for this acquisition is 238320 with a size standard of $14M. The estimated magnitude will be $5M to $7M. Contract award will be based on best value, using Lowest-Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) procedures. Award will be made to the technically acceptable offeror with the lowest price, which is deemed responsible in accordance with FAR 9.1 and whose proposal conforms to the solicitation requirements. Contract teaming is encouraged as prescribed under the SBA rules for Joint Ventures, Prime Contractor/Sub-Contractor arrangements and the SBA Mentor-Protégé procedures. There will be no paper copies of this solicitation. All solicitation information may be obtained through the above-referenced website. The estimated issue date of the solicitation is on or about 27 April 2012, with an estimated 30 calendar day response period and estimated proposal due date of 28 May 2012. Estimated award date is 22 September 2012.
