- Description
- The U.S. Coast Guard is seeking qualified sources that can provide parts for Limitorque valve actuators for models SMB-00, SMB-0, SMB-1, and SMB-2 on the Oakridge Drydock. A firm-fixed price type contract is anticipated. This will be a requirement utilizing only Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) replacement parts. It is the Government's belief that only the OEM and/or its authorized distributors can (1) can furnish the required items and ensure the proper fit, form, and function of all its components. Therefore, it is the USCG's intent to handle this procurement as a sole source with Flowserve Limitorque authorized distributors. Organizations having the expertise and required capabilities to provide brand name parts are invited to submit complete information discussing such capabilities. Organizations having the expertise and required capabilities to provide the parts are invited to submit complete information discussing such capabilities by providing: (1) Data that the offered parts have been satisfactorily manufactured for the Government or the Original Equipment Manufacture; which includes complete and Current engineering data to demonstrate the acceptability of the offered parts (i.e. salient physical, function and serviceability characteristics) This data must include sufficient information to the Coast Guard to evaluate. The Coast Guard does not intend to pay for information solicited. Responses shall be submitted within 15 days of this announcement. Responses must be concise and specific to the requirements mentioned above. The complete solicitation package shall also be available for download from FedBizOpps, at www.eps.gov on or about May 15 2012. Be advised this date is "estimated" at best. Interested sources are encouraged to review FedBizOpps daily until the solicitation becomes available.
