- General Services Administration (GSA), Public Buildings Service, Center for Acquisition Center intends to award on a non-competitive firm-fixed price purchase order under simplified acquisition procedures to George Mason University (GMU), 3310 Noble Pond Way, Woodbridge, Virginia, 22193 for lease space to continue to operate a pilot program for a Secure Telecenter (sTC) for selected federal agencies and departments. GMU is the only known source that can provide the lease space required. The leased space is already configured as the business model to best provide agency employees with an environment with access to Secure Internet Protocol Network. GMU previously established other sTCs within NCR and has maintained a business model in place consistent with the requirements needed for management of a sTC. This requirement will be awarded to GMU based upon the authority at Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 13.3 and 6.302-1(a)(2). The services are required for five (5) months (05/01/2012-09/30/2012). The North American Industry Classification for this procurement is 531120. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals and the Government does not intend to accept proposals received. Award will be made following the publication of this notice. This will be a firm-fixed price contract with five (5) months. All inquiries and concerns must be addressed in writing to the e-mail address stated herein, Attn: Collette Scott. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
