- Notice of Intent Great Plains Regional Contracting Office, Brooke Army Medical Center intends to award a sole source contract to Nuance Communications for one year Preventive Service Maintenance and repair contract on Nuance Dictaphone System software and hardware. Nuance Communications retains proprietary maintenance service rights for products sold directly to the customer. Nuance owns the software rights and data rights that are required to properly maintain the government owned equipment. Continued maintenance from the original provider is necessary to ensure equipment maintains functionality as it was intended when purchased. Award will be made on or about 23 April 2012. The NAICS code 811219, size standard is $19M. This notice is neither a request for quotes nor a solicitation of offers; however, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency for future requirements.
