- Description
- The DHS-FEMA center for Faith-Based & Neighborhood Parnerships intends to award a sole source contract under authority FAR 6.302-1, 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) or 41 U.S.C. 253(c)(1) to Miami-Dade County Emergency Management (MDME), located at Miami Florida to successfully implement long-term sustainability of benefits from the efforts of full participation by the jurisdiction with legal authority to design, plan, exercise and operate emergency management functions in the specified geographic area. To develop outreach plan to bring nontraditionsl faith-based community groups into the project to serve these population who had no prior experience in providing disaster relief. The estimated award dollar amount will be under Simplified Acquisition Threshold of $150,000 and will be awarded by May 01, 2012.
