- Amendment 9 Japan RFP Amendment 0009 is hereby issued to cancel the solicitation (SPM8E3-11-R-0010). Upon consideration of concerns expressed by customers and industry regarding the acquisition strategy, DLA Troop Support has determined that the current strategy does not represent the most advantageous method of fulfilling customer requirements and is not in the best interest of the Government. DLA Troop Support is in the process of conducting additional market research required to revise the acquisition strategy and anticipates resoliciting in the near future. It is estimated that it will take approximately 10 months to complete the market research, issue the solicitation, evaluate proposals, and award the follow-on contract.
