- Description
- The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Lakehurst, NJ, intends to acquire four (4) used King Air Model 350 basic aircraft platforms equipped with Rockwell Collins Pro Line 21 integrated avionics system. The four used aircraft are: King Air Serial Number FL-388, FAA Registry N15EW0, Manufacture Year 2004; 350 Serial Number FL-416, FAA Registry N6116N, Manufacture Year 2004; Serial Number FL-449, FAA Registry N374CH, Manufacture Year 2005; and Serial Number FL-450, FAA Registry N45AJ0, Manufacture Year 2005. The four used aircraft will be procured on a sole source basis from L-3 Communications Corporation, 1001 Jack Finney Boulevard, Greenville TX 75402-3119. The Government intends to procure the above items under the authority of 10 USC 2304 (c) (1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, "Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements." The Government intends to negotiate and award a firm fixed price (FFP) contract, FOB Destination. The Government does not own technical data, drawings, or other specifications to permit full and open competition. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit a proposal in writing that may be used by the Government in determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon the response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Written responses must be received within 15 days of publication of this notice. Responses shall reference N68335-12-R-0159. This effort was previously synopsized by NSWC Crane Division, and is being resynopsized as the procurement was transferred to NAWCAD Lakehurst.
