- Description
- The Federal Acquisition Service’s General Supplies and Services Portfolio’s Office of Supply Operations is aligning Supply Chain Modernization (SCM) with innovations in the Global Supply business model to provide greater value and service to customers through a more customer-centric approach that will leverage the evolution of industry capabilities. The alignment will necessitate a comprehensive review of the solicitation and changes are anticipated. The demand driven supply chain initiative will re-prioritize SCM project requirements so GSS will not proceed with the solicitation as originally envisioned under the Alliant GWAC. Over the next month, GSS will update the project roadmap and acquisition plan. A short review period is likely while GSS updates the solicitation requirements.
