- W912HP-12-R-0009 Herbicide Solicitation Notice Type: Solicitation Synopsis: The U.S. Arm y Corps of Engineers, Charleston District (USACE Charleston), Charleston, SC intends to award a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Indefinite Quantity Contract for Herbicide Management services inclusive of low volume, low profile herbicide application in accordance with the specifications and conditions set for in the attached statement of work. The project is located approximately fifty (50) miles north of Charleston, South Carolina and is accessed off of U.S. Highway 52 via Rediversion Road. The work includes complying with the requirements of the Service Contract Act of 1965. MAGNITUDE of Work is $45,000 to $55,000 per annum for Base year plus Four Option Years. A pre-bid Site Visit will be conducted on April 4, 2012 beginning at 9:00 am Eastern Time at 1275 Rediversion Road, St. Stephen Power House, St. Stephen, SC., in the main lobby of the building where attendees will be signing in. Interested vendors shall sign up for the site visit by email with Kathryn Rice at Kathryn.A.Rice@usace.army.mil prior to 4:00 p.m. on April 2, 2012. Please submit a listing of the company attendees with full names, and cell numbers. Participants must have driver's license, proof of car insurance and proof of vehicle registration to drive on Cooper River Diversion grounds. Questions will be limited to constructional concerns during the tour; however, any other questions from vendors shall be submitted in writing and response to all questions in a separate posting at www.fbo.gov. A separate document titled "Questions and Answers" will be posted at a later date as a response to the questions asked from original posting and additional questions that may come up after the site visit. The Request for Proposal (RFP) #W911HP-12-R-0009, documents will also define the technical and performance requirements, and include the Performance Work Statement. The NAICS Code is 561730 and the FSC Code is 0851. This will be a 100% Small Business Set Aside and the size standard is $7,000,000.00. All respondents shall be actively registered in the Central Contract Registration (CCR) System, have a valid DUNS Number, Cage Code, and Tax Identification Number prior to award of contract. The solicitation and any subsequent amendments will only be available in electronic format, downloadable from the internet. No CD-ROMs or hardcopy documents will be distributed. Bidders must be registered in the CCR and at the Federal Business Opportunity Homepage ( www.fbo.gov ) in order to view or download the solicitation documents. It is the responsibility of bidders to monitor the website for notices and amendments. The solicitation will be posted on or about 10 April, 2012 with bids due on or about 10 May, 2012 prior to 4:00pm Eastern time.
