Description

The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Panama City Division (NSWC PCD) issues this special announcement for Class J&A Number 1195-0044 to acquire components and equipment in support of the Deployable Joint Command and Control (DJC2) family of systems. NSWC PCD requires these products in order to ensure DJC2 maintains a standardized system while forgoing substantial substitution costs. Award to firms not supplying these products would require substantial system re-testing to certify the products as part of the overarching system. Individual requirements may vary widely and may be fulfilled utilizing numerous solicitations and/or Government Wide Acquisition (GWAC) contracts over the next 36 months. Prospective suppliers must be original equipment manufacturers or certified distributors or resellers in order to provide the supplies. When requirements are identified, the place of delivery will be the Receiving Office, Naval Support Activity Panama City (NSA PC), 110 Vernon Ave, Panama City, FL 32407. All orders/contracts will be firm fixed price. There is no specific Bill of Materials at this time, and orders may vary based on individual requirements. The proposed contract actions are for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only qualified sources. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or provide qualifications that meet the individual requirements. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 334119 and the size standard is 1,000 employees.
