- The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division (NAWCWD) will be holding "Industry Day 2012" on Wednesday, May 23, 2012 from 8:00AM to 5:00PM at the Kerr McGee Center 100 West California Avenue, Ridgecrest, CA. The objective of this conference is to enhance NAWCWD-Industry collaboration in support of Naval Aviation and the Warfighter. The agenda will include introductory presentations by NAVAIR/NAWCWD leadership, forecasted contracting opportunities for FY12, FY13 and FY14 and discussions on the use of Commercial Service Agreements (CSA) and Cooperative Research and Development Agreements (CRADA). The conference is open to all industry representatives whose companies can provide products and services to NAWCWD or are interested in the use of a CSA or CRADA. Seating is available on a first come, first serve basis. You must be registered to attend and identification will be required at check-in. Who Should Attend? * Federal contractors (large and small) that are interested in NAWCWD contracting and subcontracting opportunities representing all industries. * Companies interested in partnering with NAWCWD in efforts jointly shared and funded through the use of a CRADA. * Commercial customers interested in using NAWCWD's extensive research, development, acquisition, test and evaluation capabilities through the use of a CSA. * Representatives from Small Businesses, Small Disadvantaged Businesses, 8(a), HUB-Zone, Veteran-Owned Small Businesses, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses, and Women-Owned Small Businesses. The NAWCWD Industry Day 2012 Event and Registration website (to include draft agenda) will be posted as an amendment to this synopsis. No base access is required and no security badges will be needed or provided. **Please note that the forecast is for informational purposes only.
