Description
The Robley Rex VA Medical Center in Louisville, Kentucky has a requirement for a contractor to provide construction services to include the demolition and removal of existing structures, and furnishing all labor, materials, equipment and expert supervision needed to construct a new Substance Abuse facility per the specifications and drawings to be provided at such time that the solicitation is formally published. Work includes but is not limited to removal of existing structures, general construction, alterations, roads, walks, grading, drainage, mechanical and electrical work, laboratory equipment and utility systems. At the completion of construction services, the general contractor shall provide four (4) sets of full size mylar prints, six (6) O&M manuals, six (6) Compact Discs(CD's)containing AutoCAD and PDF versions of all as-built drawings and an excel (electronic)listing of all installed equipment including model and serial numbers. NAICS Code 236220 is applicable to this requirement. The small business size standard is $33.5M. The period of performance for this requirement is 360 calendar days from receipt of Notice To Proceed. The construction price range is between $2,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. The solicitation, specifications and drawings for this requirement will be available for download at www.fbo.go on or before April 26, 2012. This procurement is a 100% Set-Aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) concerns under the authority of 38 U.S.C. 8127(d). In order to be eligible to submit an offer for consideration a SDVOSB but be listed and viewable in the Vendor Information Pages, as this will be verified at the time of receipt of an offer, as well as prior to award. The response date for offerors submitting bids on this requirement is June 11, 2012.
