Description

CONSTRUCTION PROJECT - Construction Project 504-12-006, Combi-Oven and Power Installation, Thomas E. Creek VA Medical Center, Amarillo, TX. The Phoenix VA Healthcare System (PVAHCS), Phoenix Arizona, intends to issue a solicitation requesting proposals to provide all work shown on the drawings and included in the specifications. Work includes, but is not limited to: provide all parts and labor to install a new 208 volt 3 phase 175 amp service to the new Combi-Oven. The work required consists of installing A new 480 volt 100 amp 3 phase disconnect will be installed at this location. A new 75KVA 480v to 208 3phase transformer will be mounted on an existing concrete slab outside of building. The conduit and wiring will run from the new transformer, to inside building, first floor, and connect to a new shunt trip. The new shunt trip will be mounted next to the existing shunt trip used by our existing oven in building. A full scope of work will be included in the solicitation documents. Performance Period is 30 calendar days after receiving Notice to Proceed. Complete drawings and specifications will be included in the solicitation document that will be available on FedBizOpps on or about April 17, 2011. Information regarding a formal pre-proposal site visit (including time, date, and meeting location) will be provided in the solicitation. Solicitation responses will be due in the Contracting Office no later than Thursday, May 17, 2011 at 2:00pm MST. Proposal submissions shall be electronic copies submitted via the VA Vendor Portal. Information and instruction regarding the VA Vendor Portal will be included with the solicitation. Telegraphic, email, and facsimile proposals ARE PROHIBITED. This project requires the proposers/contractors to secure bonding. NOTE: ALL DATES ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE. SEE SOLICITATION FOR OFFICIAL DATES, TIMES, AND LOCATIONS OF SITE VISITS AND DEADLINES. All proposers shall be registered and verified in the www.ccr.gov and www.vetbiz.gov and https://orca.bpn.gov/ in order to be eligible for award. This procurement is 100 percent set aside for Service-Disabled, Veteran-Owned, Small Business (SDVOSB). The NAICS code is 236220. The associated size standard for this procurement is $33.5 million dollars in average gross annual receipts for the preceding three years. Project Magnitude: Between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00. Award is subject to availability of funding.
