- This is an advertisement for the Request for Quote (RFQ) VA-259-12-Q-0304. The VA Eastern Colorado Healthcare System (ECHS) Medical Center, located at 1055 Clermont Street, Denver, Colorado is soliciting offers from experienced and qualified Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business Concerns capable removal and disposal of the asbestos containing materials (ACM) at Bldg 142, Fort Lyon, Colorado. All asbestos abatement work will be done in strict accordance with all applicable EPA, OSHA, and Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPH&E) Regulation #8 regulations to include but not limited to removal and disposal of approximately 560 linear feet of asbestos containing pipe insulation and perform heap vacuum cleaning and wet wiping on the remaining interior of the building. The project number for this acquisition is V19-12-103. The estimated construction range is between $25,000 and $100,000. The Denver VA is issuing this Request for Quote in accordance with FAR Part 15 whereby technical capabilities and past performance are approximately equal in importance as to price. NAICS Code 562910 is applicable to this acquisition with and the business size standard is $14.0M. Solicitation documents will be available electronically at FedBizOpps website at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. NO HARD COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL BE ISSUED. Information regarding an organized site visit and pre-proposal conference will be listed in the solicitation documents. Prospective offerors are encouraged to attend the organized site visit to familiarize themselves with the project, project site and conditions which may affect your cost proposal. Only one site visit will be conducted. Upon review of solicitation documents, prospective offerors are encouraged to submit questions and comments in writing, in regards to the solicitation prior to the scheduled site visit. Solicitation number VA-259-12-Q-0304 has been assigned and shall be referenced on all correspondence regarding this announcement and solicitation. Interested firms are reminded that in accordance with FAR Part 4.11, prospective contractors are required to have an active registration in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) and FAR Part 4.12, prospective contractors must complete electronic on line annual representations and certifications (ORCA) databases prior to award of a contract. Both can be accessed at the Business Partner Network (BPN) website at http://www.bpn.gov/. SDVOSB concerns must be active and registered at http://www.vetbiz.gov/ to be eligible to receive award.
