- This announcement constitutes a Sources Sought (market survey). This is not a Request for Quote (RFQ) or a Request for Proposal (RFP). This announcement is for information and planning purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, implied or otherwise, to issue a solicitation or award a contract. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Walla Walla District is seeking Business Sources for a supply requirement entitled: "Light Fixtures." The purpose of this sources sought is to determine interest and capability of potential qualified businesses relative to the North American Industry Classification code (NAICS) 423610. To make an appropriate acquisition decision for this project, the Government may use responses to this sources sought. The type of solicitation issued and the manner of advertisement will depend on the responses to this sources sought. SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS FOR RESPONSES TO THIS SOURCES SOUGHT (1) Your intent to submit a quote for this project when it is formally advertised. (2) Name of firm with address, phone number and point of contact. (3) CAGE Code, DUNS number or a copy of your Central Contractor Registration (CCR) information. (4) Statement of your ability to provide the requirement. Note in your response if you intend to submit an "or equal" item when the request for quotes is issued. Firms responding to the sources sought who fail to provide ALL of the required information requested, will not be used to assist the Government in the acquisition decision. Jacobsen Phone: (509) 527-7203 Fax: (509) 527-7801 ATTN: Cynthia Jacobsen E-mail: Cynthia.h.jacobsen@usace.army.mil Response deadline April 16, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. (Pacific Time) Place of Performance U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Walla Walla District 201 North Third Avenue Walla Walla, WA 99362 DESCRIPTION OF REQUIREMENT Contractor shall provide a quantity of 54 cobra head style, aluminum finish, induction light fixture, 250 Watt, 480 Volt, 5000K color temp., 1-7/8" mounting clamp, 10 year warranty, Everlast Lighting Daytona Cobra, Series ECH-ED or approved equal. The items specified comprise a complete induction light fixture assembly to replace existing conventional light fixtures. All items shall be delivered FOB destination to Lower Granite no later than 5/31/12. The contractor shall be responsible for packing and shipping the components in a manner that will ensure undamaged and complete arrival to Lower Granite Project.
