- Parts Price List, Attachment (01) Solicitation It is the intent of the Military Sealift Command Ship Support Unit San Diego to make sole source procurement of parts and service from HATLAPA Marine Equipment Ltd, c/o Marin Solve, to overhaul No. 1 and 2 PME Start Air Compressor. The service entails OEM (Hamworthy Engineering) service technician to accomplish manufacturer's recommended 4-year or 4,000 hours maintenance (strip & measure moving parts for wear) and the installation of new Hamworthy controllers. The company has proprietary rights to replacement parts and technical services being procured. The performance period for this requirement is 18 May to 6 June 2012. Requirement will be negotiated on other than full and open competition basis in accordance with 10 USC 2304(c) (1) with HATLAPA Marine Equipment Ltd as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability in responding to the requirement or submitting proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals, however, all proposals received on time will be considered. A determination not to compete this proposed contract action based upon response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The estimated issue date of the solicitation is 11 May 2012. This requirement is solicited under NAICS Code 336611 with a size standard of 1,000 employees. Electronic posting of the solicitation may be viewed at the Contracts Section of the MSC Website. Instruction for downloading the solicitation from the website is as follows: type in http://www.msc.navy.mil/ into your browser. Click on Contracts tab at the upper right hand corner of screen and click on Solicitations/Contracts. Click the radio button Request for Proposal/Quotation (RFP/RFQ)-current solicitations. Click on radio button Search by RFP/RFQ or Title. Type the solicitation number in the space provided and hit search. Click on the attachments at lower half of the page to download solicitation.
