- Draft SOW Environmental Graphics 10-April-2012 Hospital Fire Protection and Prevention Hospital Infection Control Standards ___________________________________________________ Added: 11 April 2012 This is further market research and is not a solicitation for the environmental graphics. The purpose of the this posting is to gather more market research to gain a better insight of exactly what the statement of work needs to contain so the contractor completely understands the government requirements. Please review the draft statement of work Titled: Draft SOW Environmental Graphics 10-April-2012. Please then review the questions below. Fire prevention and infection control information are also attached as described at the industry day. If you have any comments about the SOW and/or are able to answer the questions please reply to Keith.Brandner@wpafb.af.mil. Government's Questions: What type of material will the pop-out board need to be? Pop out boards will need to be both clear for interchangeable materials as well as printed with pictures as words. We currently as saying a cardboard type material for the printed boards but is this accurate? Is this cardboard or sometime of composite wood or plastic? What are some types of materials we might be able to choose from for this? What type of wall paper will be used that can last a lifetime and not fade including cleaning by hospital grade cleaners? Are there many different types that will satisfy this requirement? Is there an industry standard that describes lifetime durability? Is the type of wallpaper the most important aspect here or will the type of adhesive be equally as important? We do know that we want to require that the adhesive last a lifetime. Do you need any more information on the fire codes and infection control for the hospital other than the attachments or is this information sufficient to create a bid and complete work at the proposed cost?
