- Description
- The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division (NSWCCD) has a requirement for a Refurbished Rubber Mill to support Non-Metallic Materials Research and Development Group. The procurement is for (1) 36 42 wide roll mill to mix/calendar rubber compounds. The requirement has been set-aside for small business under NAICS Code is 333220 with a size standard of 500 employees. NSWCCD intends to award a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract. The solicitation will be issued electronically on or about 25 Apr 2012. The Government will not provide paper copies of the solicitation package. Fax, telephone, written or email requests for the solicitation package will not be honored. NOTE: The solicitation issuance date is an estimate, not an actual, and the actual can be before or after the stated date. The response date cited above does not obligate the Government to award a contract nor does it obligate the Government to pay for any proposal preparation costs. The Government reserves the right to cancel this procurement/ solicitation either before or after the RFP closing date, with no obligation to the offeror by the Government. All prospective contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) in order to be eligible for contract award.
