- PROJECT NUMBER AND TITLE: ES-00110-2P, EMERGENCY SPILL CLEANUP, USAG LIVORNO, ITALY; W912PF-12-T-0058 DESCRIPTION OF THE PROJECT: the Contractor is required to perform, manually or mechanically, spill cleanup activities such as the excavation and disposal of soil, gravel and/or water coming from the cleanup of areas which have been contaminated by hazardous substances (e.g. petroleum, oil, and lubricants (POLs), antifreeze, etc.) spills. The Contractor may be required to take soil samples at the site. Full laboratory analysis is needed. If needed the Contractor shall utilize groundwater wells and soil borings for investigation. After every emergency spill cleanup action, the Contractor shall submit a report. FUNDING: The project is a requirements type contract where each delivery order will be individually funded. LOCATION OF THE WORK: The site of the proposed work is USAG Livorno, Italy MAGNITUDE OF THE PROJECT: This project consists of a Base Year plus one option year. METHOD OF CONTRACTING: This will be a Request for Quotes (RFQ) resulting in a firm fixed price contract. PERFORMANCE PERIOD: The Base Year will be 365 calendar days after award. SITE VISIT: The site visit will be held on 27 April 2012 at 9:00 a.m. in the Regional Contracting Office (RCO) Conference room, Bldg. 5131. MEETING POINT FOR THE SITE VISIT: Gate 27, Depot Area, USAG Livorno MISCELLANEOUS: The solicitation package, including the technical specifications, description of the work, drawings and all additional information, will be posted in a few weeks on Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) Acquisition Business Web Site (https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi/) To be awarded a government contract you MUST have DUNS (Dun & Bradstreet; tel: 02-28-455-379) and NCAGE (www.dlis.dla.mil/Forms/Form_AC135.asp) numbers and be registered in CCR (https://www.bpn.gov). We will discuss this at the site visit. To be selected the bidder must demonstrate that the laboratory that will be used complies with ISO EN 17025 "General Requirements for the Competence of Testing and Calibration Laboratories"; ISO EN 9001 "Quality Management Systems Requirements"; and ISO EN 14000 "Environmental Management" requirements; and that the laboratory is "Accredia" certified for all analyzed parameters. Only the persons who have provided the personal data will be allowed to attend the site visit. The Guards will check the identification card at the Gate. The offerors not present on the list will be denied the entrance to the Base.
