- Description
- The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Newport (NUWCDIVNPT), Newport, RI, intends to place a contract with HydroAcoustics Inc., Henrietta, NY for HFL-1 Transducers, maintenance kits, refurbishment, conversions and related support services associated with existing HLF-1 Transducers. The contract will be placed on a sole source basis pursuant to the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) Only One Responsible Source. HydroAcoustics has the proprietary data relative to design, manufacturing and testing of the entire HLF-1 Transducer series. An Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity type contract will contain both Firm Fixed Price and Cost Plus Fixed Fee provisions with a three (3) year period of performance. This is a follow-on to contract N66604-09-D-1860 with HydroAcoustics, Inc., the sole manufacturer of the HLF-1 series Transducer. NAICS code is 334511, with a size standard of 750 employees.
