- THIS NOTICE IS FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. This amendment is issued to provide a clearer description of the requirements for this project, to correct the Standard Business Size of Code, and to extend the due date for written notifications. North American Industrial Classification Standards (NAICS) Code is 541990 and the correct Standard Business Size is $7.0M and not $6.5M as previously posted. The sole source award will be conducted in accordance with FAR Part 13.106-1(b) only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirement. The vendor will provide all labor, materials, and equipment required to enable the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), continued access to Gladson's dataset consisting of all 160,000 packaged grocery foods with the following information: 1) UPC Code 2) Brand Name 3) Product name 4) Nutrition Facts Panel information Access to Gladson's system for portions of the data is available from Gladson based on CDC's needs for a 12-month period. CDC will renew the licensing agreement for access to the proprietary data. CDC is not requesting competitive proposals and no solicitation is available. Firms that believe they can provide the services required are encouraged to identify themselves and give written notification to the Contracting Officer no later than 2:00 PM Eastern Standard Time, by April 13, 2012. No questions will be accepted regarding this informational posting. Determination not to compete this proposed action based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Respondents will assume all financial costs for preparing a response to this notice. The U.S. Government assumes no financial obligation for the preparation and distribution of prepared responses.
